  HBD Appliances is the new name for Herne Bay Domestics, and the reason comes down to how far our family business now travels across Kent. Over the years, we have grown well beyond Herne Bay. We now sell appliances and provide delivery, while our team also handles installation and repairs for customers across a much wider area. We found that the Herne Bay Domestics name could sometimes make people think we only covered Herne Bay, when our team actually travels much further. HBD Appliances feels like a better fit for the business we are today, while still keeping our original name and history with us. HBD still stands for Herne Bay Domestics. We first opened on Herne Bay High Street in 1984, so keeping that connection was important to us.
