Our engineers had their hands full recently, carrying out appliance repairs in Faversham for three different customers, all with unrelated faults. A washing machine drum that had stopped turning, a dishwasher leaving dishes dirty and an oven that couldn't get up to temperature. All three were diagnosed and repaired on the same day. Call us now on 01227 361536. Washing Machine Not Spinning A customer in Faversham got in touch after noticing their washing machine drum had stopped turning mid-cycle. Once we inspected the machine, we traced the fault to worn motor carbon brushes, which were stopping the motor from driving the drum properly. After fitting new carbon brushes and reassembling the machine, we ran it through a wash and spin cycle to check everything. We recently had a customer contact us from Ickham, just a short route from the Duke William, whose cooker had stopped responding completely. There were no lights and nothing on the display. Our engineer visited the same week and found the clock had lost its settings, which was reset on the spot. Did you know: with a population of only around 400 people, Ickham is one of the quieter villages in our East Kent coverage area.  The customer had already checked the plug and socket themselves and could not find a reason for the fault, so they got in touch with us to have it looked at properly.
